Tal is a dancer, performer, dance teacher, and rehearsal director based in Israel and recently also in Switzerland.

As a dancer, he has collaborated with internationally renowned choreographers in a wide range of projects across the US, Canada and Israel.

Through his performance experience he has had the privilege of engaging in diverse approaches to dance, movement, and performance.

As a teacher - Tal comes from a family of educators and works at Israel’s leading dance institutions.

He teaches contemporary dance, improvisation, composition, and regularly sets repertoire of works he has performed.

Tal’s drive as a mover to sense weight and follow movement in its complexity also shapes his teaching.

His class invites dancers to engage in a dynamic and nuanced dialogue with their bodies, bringing them to a state of physical and expressive availability.

Through cultivating awareness of their physical actions and experiences, dancers are invited to make clearer choices as dancers and performers.

Bio

Tal Adler Arieli, born in 1989, is a dancer, performer, movement teacher, and a rehearsal director. He studied at the Thelma Yelin High School of the Arts, and later graduated from The Juilliard School. He lives in between Tel Aviv and Bern. He has collaborated with choreographers such as Dana Yahalomi (Public Movement), Yossi Berg and Oded Graf, Yasmeen Godder, Roy Assaf, Niv Sheinfeld and Oren Laor, Dana Ruttenberg, Guy Gutman, and more.

During his time living in New York (2007-2015) Tal worked with Andrea Miller's Gallim Dance , The Equus Projects, choreographer Jonah Bokaer, and company Le Carré des Lombes in Montreal.

Tal teaches technique classes and workshops. He teaches regularly at Ironi Alef High School of Arts, The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Kibbutzim College, Pro Mornings classes in Suzanne Dellal.

As a rehearsal director he works with Roni Chadash, Dafi Eltabeb, Tami Leibovitz, Guy Gutman, and Mika Kupfer.
